Comments:Over six months ago, I purchased two solo ads in the WebProTimes ezine. The two
ads were part of an ad package and I was able to purchase them for $200 each. WebProTimes ezine's solo ads during this time cost $247 per ad. Since my initial purchase, the rates have gone up.

I tested my solo ads over 200 days ago and had mixed feelings regarding the results. Ideally, I expected more clicks since WebProTimes ezine had a subscriber base of 75,000 or more. Their subscriber base has since grown. Out of the 75,000+ subscribers, I got only 165 clicks for my first ad and 250 for my second one. While these are very low click thru rates, I was not completely disappointed since I'd purchased them at a discounted rate with the ad package. I also calculated the cost per clicks and discovered I paid $1.21 per click for the first ad and $0.80 per click for the second one. I ended up with 3 affiliate sales of $70 each and generated 40-50 leads which have the potential for backend sales. All in all, I was satisfied.

Rating:The ratings for WebProTimes ezine are slightly above the median range because they provide exceptional customer service, which is tough to match, so they receive 9 out of 10 for customer service. My rating when it came to value-for-money and my rating for results was based on the cost I paid and not the current rate. So, WebProTimes ezine's gets a 6 for value-for-service and a 7 for results as I did come away with sales and strong leads. If I'd based this rating on their current rate of $497, it would have been well below 5 for both value-for-money and results.
I did give WebProTimes a 6 for quality since the service was effective overall. Purchasing an ad
with WebProTimes ezine is an okay option if you are able to get the ad rate reduced, costing you no more than $250 per ad.

Conclusion:Since my purchase of the solo ads was over six months ago, WebProTimes ezine has gone up on their ad rates. If you were to purchase a solo ad today, it would cost $497 per ad. While their subscriber base has increased with a last count totaling 87,000 or more, I'm not
certain of the success that can be generated from having ads in the WebProTimes ezine now.

Tip: If the quality of service has not changed, WebProTimes ezine's solo ads are not cost effective. However, if you can get your rate lowered to no more than $250 it's worth a try. Otherwise I wouldn't purchase or even test a solo ad within this ezine. If you're very interested
in solo ads with WebProTimes ezine, then I strongly suggest you contact them to negotiate a discounted rate
