Comments: A few months ago I purchased SuperPromo ezine's Solo Ad service. With so many affiliate programs recommending this service, I definitely felt it should generate significant results. Once given a running date, I could not wait to see the results. Unfortunately my ad did not run on the scheduled date as promised. After several days, I contacted customer service to find out why my ad did not run. They were overwhelmingly apologetic and sincere, offering not only to run the ad, but also to refund my investment of $149.95. I was quite impressed and a few days later, my solo ad was sent. Out of 90,000+ subscribers, I received only 33 clicks. However from the 33 clicks I did generate $70 in sales receiving a $45 commission. This tells me SuperPromo ezine's Solo Ad service does offer quality leads.

I eventually discovered why I only received 33 clicks out of 90,000+ subscribers. This service does not display the subject of your specific solo ad in the subject line. Instead, all solo ads contain the same generic subject line. The specific subject of a solo ad is only included in the body of an email. I would imagine greater results if the subject line was not generic, which obviously diminishes the opportunity for emails to be opened. The subject line is the most important part of the email because it is the first thing read and determines the likelihood of an email being opened, hence links clicked.

Rating: Hands down, I give SuperPromo ezine's Solo Ad service a 9 out of 10 for customer service. Their immediate response and refund were unbelievable. Due to the click-thru-rate and sales results, I'm only able to give this product mid-range ratings. I give SuperPromo ezine's Solo Ad service a 4 on value for money and a 5 for results along with quality of service. Overall, this solo ad service gets 5.75 out of 10 since the leads were strong and I was able to make a sale.

Conclusion: Receiving 33 clicks and a sale means SuperPromo ezine has a loyal customer base. With a subject line specific to my solo ad, I'm sure I would have received approximately 5-7 times more clicks and even more sales. Overall the results would still be low with such a large subscriber base. However, for $150 it would be a good deal.

Tip:SuperPromo ezine does not offer a bad solo ad service. Their customer service is impeccable; however the generic subject line limits the click-thru-rates. This lowers sales opportunities, so I would not recommend this service as long as they keep on publishing a generic subject line for each solo ad.
